Andreas Meyer originally received his vocational qualifications and skills by completing an IT apprenticeship with focus on systems engineering. After finishing his vocational training and education, he switched fields and started his studies in Psychology at the University of Berne, Switzerland, where he earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology. He completed his master’s degree in social psychology, social neuroscience as well as in cognitive psychology and perception. During his master’s studies, he acted as a tutor for undergraduate students and worked as an assistant at the Department of Social Psychology and Social Neuroscience. After graduating from university, he worked as a research associate in the fields of medical information science and medical controlling and works currently at the Swiss Research Institute for Public Health and Addiction (ISGF) in Zürich.
